Biaggio Ali-Walsh, Grandson of the legendary Muhammad Ali, will make his professional MMA debut at the PFL vs. Bellator: Champions Card on February 24 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Some fans might recognise Ali-Walsh from several previous PFL cards. The 25-year-old fighter had seven amateur bouts --- five with the PFL --- before being scheduled for February. Ali-Walsh won all but one of his amateur fights, finishing each victory by KO/TKO before the third round.
The American fighter faces fellow debutant, Chris Morris, who has had more amateur experience. Morris amassed a record of 11-2-0 in his amateur career, finishing seven inside the distance. Morris certainly seems like an appropriate test for the surging Ali-Walsh.
The PFL x Bellator card is poised to deliver, and some even theorise it was the reason for the UFC's failed Saudi Arabia card which was scheduled a week afterwards.
PFL x Bellator features four championship bouts between current PFL champions and Bellator champions. The card also features fan-friendly names such as Yoel Romero, Vadim Nemkov, Thiago Santos, and Aaron Pico. Also making her third MMA appearance is women's boxing world champion Claressa Shields.
