Arkansas Derby (G1) winner Muth and Santa Anita Derby (G1) runner-up Imagination each worked for trainer Bob Baffert Sunday morning at Santa Anita.

Zedan Racing Stable's Muth, a son of Quality Road, worked five furlongs in 1:00.20. It was his second work since a sharp two-length victory in the Arkansas Derby March 30 at Oaklawn Park. Imagination, an Into Mischief colt who was beaten a neck by Stronghold in the April 6 Santa Anita Derby, returned to the tab with four-furlong work in :48 flat. He is campaigned by a large ownership group that includes SF Racing, Starlight Racing, Madaket Stables, and Stonestreet Stables.

Both Muth and Imagination are candidates for the Preakness (G1), middle jewel of the Triple Crown, May 18 at Pimlico Race Course.

On Friday, Amr Zedan's Zedan Racing Stables filed an appeal with the Kentucky Court of Appeals, attempting to overturn Thursday's Kentucky Circuit Court denial of a temporary injunction that would have allowed horses trained by Baffert, including Muth, to enter the Kentucky Derby (G1), to run May 4.
